Upcoming events & activities...

At Bryerley Springs Equestrian Centre, we love to run events and activities for everybody. We are kicking things off this this May half term with our annual XC camp running for our liveries, loaners and pony club members. Look out for pictures of our riding school horses out and about showing off their jumping skills. We have plenty of activities this half term for all to enjoy, with a brand new own a pony day and a return of our much loved hack to the woods!

Own a pony day

29th & 31st May 9am - 1pm

We have two super pony days lined up for you this half term with our brand NEW Own a pony day - Poletastic. 

What our own a pony day polestastic includes:

-Pony for the day
-Learn to catch, groom and tack up your pony
-Learn about how we measure distancing between poles and set up your own poletastic exercise to ride through on your pony
​- 1hr riding including work on developing riders position, accuracy and straightness with their pony

A great session for both existing clients and new ones. A fun way to learn about the world of horses.

Hack to the woods

30th May 11am - 1pm

The warmer weather is on the horizon and we can finally restart our hacks to the woods! Giving riders the opportunity to get out of the schools and do something different. Our hacks to the woods are 2hr sessions accompanied by an experienced instructor. The hack will be primarily walk and trot but if all riders are confident then there may also be the opportunity for some canter! A super fun session where riders get a taste for what its really like to ride in the countryside.
Groups of up to 6 riders.

*Please note there will be some riding on the road so riders must be confident in handling horses*

Polework Clinic

30th May 5:30pm - 6:30pm

Test your fancy footwork skills in another one of our much loved pole clinics. A great way to improve your confidence and have fun. The session is designed to help riders improve their accuracy, position and straightness on the horse.

Suitable for riders level 3 and above
All ages welcome

Pony Parties

Available to book all year around

Why not enjoy a lovely farm Pony Party!

Parties include:

  • 90 minutes of pony fun

  • Hat hire and a party rosette

  • Ride around the farm in sunshine or indoors in bad weather

  • Party games and music

  • Bring your own party food or our Shires Kitchen can cater for your event

  • Just £180 for up to ten children, with the option to add additional children for £18 each
