  • Small groups (up to 3 riders)

  • Semi-private lessons

  • One to one private lessons

  • As well as lots of additional half term activities and events

Group riding lessons start at 4 years of age, but we can take children from 3 years for a walk around the farm and private lessons.

We also offer Pony Tots sessions for 2-4 year olds. (Spring and Summer months only)

Why not join one of our 'Own a Pony' days, they are a great introduction into the world of pony care and riding.

What to expect from our lessons

All new riders are first required to complete an assessment/introduction lesson where the instructor can assess your riding capabilities and confidence levels. We aim to match you with a horse, based on your skill level and many other factors, ensuring you enjoy your learning experience right from the start. We have a fantastic team of friendly and experienced instructors who are here to guide you on your riding journey.

After your assessment lesson has been completed our instructors will update your account with a rider grade. Our "Rider achievement booklets" are a great way for riders to track their progress and understand the requirements to move up to the next level. Please collect one of these on your first day free of charge.

Once you have received your rider grading you can then chose how you would like to continue whether that be with groups or private lessons. We have a vast selection of weekly groups available for riders of all abilities.

Groups not for you? Not a problem. We still have plenty of availability for private lessons on Saturday afternoons and throughout the week. We also offer reserve time slots for customers who would like to book a lesson every week!
